Chrome Plated Round Wire Single and Double Pullout Baskets

There is a product I had in my old house, one I miss and really need to purchase for my new place: the Rev-A-Shelf Chrome Plated Wire Pullout Baskets. They make two versions, a single basket and a double basket. In my old place, I used a double for my pots and pans. Since it had 100-pound load rated slides, I didn’t ever need to worry about overloading it.

The Single Basket

The single basket is available in three depths: 18″, 20″ and 22″. The 18″ is available in two widths, 9″ and 12″. The 20″ is available in two widths, 12″ and 15″. The 22″ is available in four widths, 12″, 15″, 18″ and 21″. All eight sizes are 7″ tall and install with only four screws directly to the bottom of the cabinet floor. A door mount kit is also available so you can take the door off the hinges and affix it directly to the slide. When you pull the door open, it pulls the basket out.

The Double Basket

Unlike the single, the double basket is only available in two depths: 18″ and 22″. The 18″ is available in two widths, 9″ and 12″. The 22″ is available in four widths, 12″, 15″, 18″ and 21″. All six sizes are 19″ tall and install with a total of seven screws. Four screws go into the bottom of the cabinet, two screws to the back on a telescoping rear mounting bracket, and one screw to the side of the cabinet at the top basket location to ensure stability. The double basket can also be mounted to your door with the optional door mount kit. In this case it would affix to the bottom basket, only pulling that basket out with the door.

A note on the double basket: the overall height is 19” and the top basket is 5” deep. Make sure you have enough height in your cabinet for whatever you’d want to put on that top basket. It would be a real bummer to find out your cabinet opening height is only 20” and you have an 8” pot that can’t fit on that top basket.

I really miss having these baskets. Looks like I now have a cabinet to measure and some baskets to install…Thankfully, the install only takes a couple minutes.
