Description

The Townsteel TDC 70 is a heavy-duty, aluminum body, grade 1 door closer that is ANSI/BHMA certified and UL rated. Designed for high-traffic applications, both for interior and exterior use.

  • Heavy duty aluminum body, non handed.
  • Barrier free: spring adjustment from size 1 to 4.
  • Delay closing action.
  • Tri-Packed with regular, parallel and top-jamb mounting, instructions and full size template.
  • Precision rack and pinion construction, 7/16″ diameter pinion.
  • UL listed molded plastic full cover standard.
  • Certifications: UL listed; ANSI/BHMA A156.4, Grade 1; UL10C, ADA Compliant
  • Separate and adjustable latch, sweep, and backcheck valves.
  • All-weather fluid, allowing door closer to perform in temperatures ranging from -31°F to 140°F.

  • Horizontal Hole Spacing: 11-1/8in.(282.5mm)
  • Vertical Hole Spacing (3 holes):  Spaced at 9/16in.(14.3mm) center-to-center.
  • Projection (with cover): 2-1/2in.(64mm)
  • Piston Size: 1-1/2in.(38mm) diameter

If an item is returnable (See restocking list), you must first call or use form below to request a return goods authorization (RGA) prior to returning any items purchased through us.

We will not accept any returns without an RGA. All items must be returned in "Re-Saleable Condition", in original packaging with all parts included. Customer is responsible for shipping charges.
