I spoke with Rev-A-Shelf and they said no, this unit must be side mounted as intended. It has to slide out and pivot before the board can be opened.

It seems that to wall mount the Sidelines by Rev-A-Shelf Premiere Pop-Up Ironing Board the back plate would have to be removed and only the front mounting plate used. Is the product made for wall mounting as well as closet mounted?
