That steel non mortise should work just fine. However, the bi-fold track hardware may of slipped and that might be what is causing your sagging issue.
In the picture provided there is the post that is were the door pivots and the second part is the retainer and that holds the post in place. The retainer should have a screw head that will loosen the retainer and that will allow you to push that post back to better position. When you have the door in a favorable position butt that retainer up to the post and secure it.
