im wondering how wide the bolt is for the post for the double strap hinge? I am going to use a 6" post?

I'm trying to figure out how long the bolt is for the hinge. I am thinking I will use a 6" post and am wondering if the bolt will be long enough for the 18" doublestrap heavy duty hinge set.

The long bolt directly underneath the strap that is half threaded with the nut will definitely accommodate a 6in post. The manufacturer will supply a detailed specification sheet if desired. Contact customer service 1-800-708-6649 ext 1.
