The US Futaba brass closet rod will eventually wear the finish down after a long period of time. Possibly using a plastic hanger may extend the life of the finish.
Does the brass finish eventually scratch/wear down to the aluminum after sliding hangers across? US Futaba 48" (1219mm) Round Closet Rod - 1-5/16" (33mm) Diameter - EACH (Satin Brass)
Was wanting true brass rods to avoid this, but having trouble finding anywhere that actually makes them FOR closet spaces (and the necessary weight load). But I'm concerned that by getting these that are finished/plated with brass color, the rods will eventually just turn back to the silver color of the aluminum.
