The Selby detachable lid stay has a plastic bushing that the rod slides up and down. It slows down the opening or closing but is not a soft close lid stay.
Does this have friction control for soft opening? Selby 10" (254mm) Free Sliding, Detachable Lid Stay - EACH (Polished Nickel)
