How would I cut this down. This is exactly what I need but my door is 35.75" wide

At the bottom of your door, measure the width of the door and cut the door bottom to that length. Using a hacksaw, cut the metal door bottom; using scissors, cut the finned vinyl insert. The recommended hacksaw blade is 32 TPI. A miter box would be optimal to ensure you get a nice clean, even cut.
