The manufacturer has never tested the load capacity for these center supports. They feel as though the fasteners/install would fail before the support would break.
How much weight can a single bracket support? Epco Closet Rod Center Support - Accepts a 1-5/16" Round Rod - EACH (Oil Rubbed Bronze)
