The Knape and Vogt 8092 series is NOT intended for outside use. It is also designed for a wooden door application not for metal. The overlay hinge option allows up to 5/16"max. overlay and the hinge requires a 40mm bore. An overlay means the door sits outside of the opening when closed, covering part of the side walls of the cabinet.
