These connector screws or "Chicago screw" as you called them (thank you for the new name) will work with those pulls. However, you will need a longer screw like these to go through the pulls and drawer front. I called the vendor and they currently have good stock on those pulls. And we have good stock of the Chicago screws and descent stock on the breakaway screws.
