Unfortunately no. By moving the sweep closer to the threshold, you will move the screws to the bottom of the door and risk blowing out the bottom.
Possible to seal gap larger than 1/2”? Pemko 36" (914mm) Door Bottom Sweep w/Neoprene - EACH (Dark Bronze Anodized)
Spec says can seal up to 1/2 “gap, but is it possible to seal a 5/8” gap by lowering the threshold a little closer to floor?
