This surface bolt has a friction stay on it so that it won't be moved by gravity or vibration. It will work great in a vertical application.
Can this be mounted for the upper doors. In other words, when latched, it will not slip down? Acorn Smooth Iron Square Surface Bolt 4" (102mm) (Black)
