The waste container itself is removable and the material is polymer. It also features a stainless steel lid with a rubber inner seal.

I want to be sure that this isn't a plastic bucket that will break in a couple years. This sounds like it is a stainless steel bucket but you state that there is a "removable liner" so it sounds like the bucket you remove and carry to the compost bin outside is plastic. It isn't clear from the photo what is plastic liner and what is stainless steel container.
