The minimum door thickness required for this knob is 1-3/8", so your 1-1/16" door will be too thin for this product. We do have an option for you in the screen door category. This one is the same finish and we currently have three in stock. Here are the basic specs and the installation instructions are also on our website. The bore for the latch is 5/8".
