How does this drawer pull work?
Hickory Hardware Natural Accents 3" (76mm) Center-to-Center Leaf Cabinet Pull (Vibra Pewter)
By the look of the photo the pull looks like it's flat against the surface. How does it stand off?

The spacing for the 2 screws are 3" on center . The projection of the pull itself is only 3/4 of an inch from surface -enough to get a finger in to open. The loop at the bottom projects out from the surface and allows you to use that area to pull open the drawer/door.
