I'm sorry but this product is labeled incorrectly as it is not a threshold. It is a door bottom that's installed on the bottom of the door and once installed the vinyl will slide into the grooves.
Once the metal part of the threshold is in place, how are you supposed to slide the vinyl piece in? Pemko 1-3/8in.W x 1/2in.H x 36" (914mm) Threshold w/Vinyl - EACH (Mill Finish Aluminum)
Assuming the ends of the metal piece are against the door jamb and not accessible?
