The mounting brackets unscrews from the sleeves. Once you have unscrewed the sleeves from the mounting bracket you will want to mount the brackets to the wall and slide the sleeves onto each end of the rod. Line-up the acrylic rod to the flanges and screw the sleeves back on to the brackets.
