No, the KV sliding barn door privacy latch is meant for inside use and on sliding doors, not folding doors.

I'm looking for hardware to use in an outdoor bi-fold closet door application. Need hardware to keep doors closed. Not a high security application. Mostly for appearances over unsightly utilities area.
