Any lacquer on brass will eventually tarnish and deteriorate—particularly items that are used outdoors and exposed to the elements, like door knockers and kickplates.
Good morning. Is this a live finish that will tarnish or is it lacquered and therefore won’t tarnish? Hager Kick Plate - 7" (178mm) x 34" (864mm) (Polished Brass)
