There is no load rating on piano hinges as there are so many factors to consider such as length, horizontal or vertical application and the frequency of use. The manufacturer suggest that with it's heavy gauge construction, this continuous/piano hinge is perfect for residential and home use. Works great on bench style seats, lids, table leaves, or toy boxes
