They can be attached to the wall, I could not find the original pamphlet but they show the item attached to a wall.
Can you attach the U-Profile to the wall instead to the door frame? NGP 22" (559mm)H x 40" (1016mm)W Door Flood Shield - EACH (Marine Grade Aluminum)
I would like to use the outside wall instead of the door frame. Do you see there any problems?
