The Emtek Modern Basel Door Knobset w/Disk Rosette (Dummy Set - Polished Chrome) is designed without any latching or locking function and is predominantly used for aesthetic purposes. This handle is surface mounted onto the door, providing an element to pull the door open. If you are looking to change the design of your hardware, you will have to purchase all new sets. Emtek's knobs and levers can be attached to any of their rosettes but that has to be done at the factory. Simply swapping out the knob or lever cannot be done in the field.
