The Timber Bronze 7" (178mm) Lodgepole Cone Door Knocker - (Basic Bronze Patina), also known as a pinecone door knocker which is surface mounted, is a breeze to install. You simply unscrew the hinge point at the top of the branch, revealing two screw holes in the plate underneath. The plate then attaches to the door using these holes. After this step, simply reattach the knocker to the plate and the installation is complete.
