Your door doesn't need to be "flat" to work with the Sugatsune Pocket Door System. If your door is a picture frame style with a stile, rail, and panel, it's suitable as long as the stile is over 2" wide to fit the hinges. If your door has onlays that vary in thickness, it should fall between 11/16" to 1-3/16" to ensure proper functionality. This system is versatile and can accommodate doors with varying designs and thicknesses.
