The Rev-A-Shelf 35 Qt. Maple Top Mount Waste Container, Reduced Depth, does not possess a self-closing feature. However, we offer alternative waste containers that are equipped with a soft-closing mechanism which automatically closes when the unit is about 3/4 shut. It should noted that the alternate is a bottom mounted system.
