The Sugatsune LIN-X series is only a lateral opening door system. For a vertical option consider the Kinvaro system. It's the only vertical solution I know of that allows full access.

The vertical ones I bought does not allow me to get into the full cabinet and the door still stays 6 inches away from the top. This looks like it lays flat when opened.
