can the back plate holding the door bolt be made larger ? Abbey Gatepro 18" (457mm) Garage Door Bolt - EACH (Hot Dipped Galvanized Steel)
I'm planning on mounting latch horizontally using lag bolts to the interior of a exterior door with bolt penetrating thru door frame by 4 or 5 inches to prevent someone from trying to pry the door open from the outside
