In order to install the "Maurice Franklin 2" (51mm) Louver & Screen Vent - EACH (Brown)", you must first drill a hole with a bore diameter of 2 inches. Afterward, apply a bead of caulking around the inside of the vent hole, 1/4" in from the outer perimeter. Then center the vent and insert.

The Maurice Franklin 2" (51mm) Louver & Screen Vent come with D-dents on the side that create tension when installed. This means that, if the hole is drilled correctly, these should fit snug and bite into the wood a little on the sides. If you would like to further secure this, you can use a silicone epoxy or caulking.
