The Sugatsune Push-to-Open Magnetic Door Latch is designed for interior use only. Because it is primarily plastic and zinc alloy, it will not weather well. It is recommended that exterior applications be done in stainless steel or brass to avoid excessive wear and corrosion caused by exposure to the elements.
