The Salice Smove® Soft-Close Adapter for Univeral Door Hinges should be put into both of the hinges. If it's placed on just one hinge, the closing force of the hinges would be in opposition, and would cause unnecessary stress on the hinge. This will causing the hinge to break down much faster.
