Latch bolts tend to be brand specific. Schlage has a rectangular spindle, and Emtek's is square. It fits, but there is enough room for movement that it wouldn't fully disengage the latch for entry. If you know what you are doing, and with a little bit of doing it might work, but I wouldn't be comfortable endorsing this idea.
