Would these work with a 3/8" lipped cabinet door attached to a face frame but no cabinet wall?
Salice 110° Universal "Super Hinge" - EACH (3/8" Lipped Door & Special Applications, Self-Closing, Screw-On)
The cabinet doors float on the frame and the cabinet wall is only at the end of the room wall on either end of the span of cabinets. The cabinet doors are over the sink in the middle of the span of cabinets with other cabinet openings/doors on either side.
Need to to have the middle cabinet doors close because I'm tired of spearing my head on the cabinet edges when I forget to close them since they're above my line of sight...may be why I'm not quite right in the head, or something :-)

The plate we offer for the Salice 110° Universal "Super Hinge" is for box constructions only. If you wanted to use these in a face frame application, you would have to build out the wall (add a block of wood) where the hinge would mount to close the space where the frame sits.
