I would not recommend installing directly into the drywall and studs because unless the studs align perfectly with the mounting holes on the Sugatsune 19" Pocket Door System, the door's weight could cause it to detach.
Can i install this directly into the wall (drywall and wood studs)? Sugatsune Pocket Door System w/Soft-Close, for Inset Doors 31-1/2" to 94-1/2" H
