This item is meant to use your existing pin, it is completely fine that the pin doesn't go all the way to the bottom of the hinge.
Is this for just the door stop? Or does this come with a pin as well? DoorSaver 3 Residential Hinge Pin Door Stop (Bright Brass)
I am just wondering if we need to order a pin separately for this product. I imagine the pins that came with our hinges would be too short after installing this.
