The lift-top of the Selby Spring-Assist, Lift-Top Coffee Table Mechanism locks into place automatically when raised, held by internal spring tension - there’s no latch or button. To close it, just apply firm, even pressure downward on the tabletop, and the mechanism will fold back down smoothly. Be sure to press from the center or use both hands for best control.
