Is the TOTAL open height 10-3/4", or does it RAISE by that much and the total open height 14-3/16"? Selby Spring-Assist, Lift-Top Coffee Table Mechanism - EACH (Black Epoxy)

In the description it says

So does that mean when opened the total height of the mechanism (from the bottom of the lower member to the top of the upper member) 3-7/16" (87mm) + 10-3/4"(273mm) i.e. 14-3/16" (360mm), or is the total open height actually 10-3/4"(273mm), which means it lifts the table top by 7-5/16"? (186mm)

When fully opened and extended (the photo isn't quite showing fully extended, it opens more to the right in the photo which lowers it down a little) measured from the bottom of the bottom portion to the top of the top portion the overall height is 11-3/8".
