We talked to the factory about your glass size and they said it would be fine as long as it is tempered glass to do 54" with two pairs of brackets, one pair on each end like in the photo on the site.
how long of a 10" deep glass shelf can I use with 4 of these side mounted to cabinet like in picture on web site Expo Design "The Shelf Clip" Shelf Brackets - For 5/8"-3/4" Thick Glass/Shelf - PAIR (Frosted Chrome)
my span is 54" so recommended glass thickness, it would not be for alot of items or heavy items
