The item comes with a singular lift assist damper and a piano hinge. I'm not sure how heavy or large your "lid" is, but most people only need one of these for their application. There are two different versions of the lift assist damper available and all you need to figure out which model suits your needs is a simple torque calculation.

- Inch / Pound Rating = Door Height ( in inches) x Door Weight (in lbs.) x 1/2 (.5)
- Door height is measured from the hinged end of the door to the opposite end.
