Regrettably, the feature to stay upright isn't available with the Extend-A-Hand 32" (813mm) Folding Grab Bar (Stainless Steel). Given the design, the 32 in grab bar may fall due to gravity, potentially causing unintended harm. The extend a hand mechanism lacks the necessary component to secure it in an upward position.
