Selecting cabinet pull lengths
When selecting sizes, there is a general rule to pull lengths shown below. For horizontal drawers, the general rule is cabinet pulls should be half the width of the drawer or smaller. For vertical doors, the general rule is cabinet pulls should a third the height of the door or smaller.
Longer pulls provide a more dramatic style. Common on deeper drawers and tall doors, longer pulls can make a large space seem even larger. You can read more about dramatic style pulls in another recent blog of ours, Our top 5 trend predictions for 2021. (But it’s not all about pulls, don’t forget about knobs too!)
