PBB Double Acting Spring Hinges permits doors to open in either direction and automatically return to closed position.
  • Adjustable spring tension permits power and speed adjustment.
  • Door Thickness: 1-3/4" (44.4mm) stock hollow metal or wood doors without a hinge edge bevel.
  • Max. Door Weight: 75lbs. (2 hinges); 107lbs (3 hinges).
  • Max. Door Width: 32in. (2 hinges); 36in. (3 hinges).
  • Door Height for weights listed: 84in.
  • Door flange is designed to fit standard 4-1/2" x 4-1/2" template mortise.
  • No hanging strip is required on frame. Jamb flange is surface applied to jamb.
  • Packaging: (1) spring hinge, (1) tension rod, (2) tension pins [pre-installed], (14) machine screws [#12-24 x 1/2"], and (7) wood screws [#12 x 1-1/2"].
  • Note: It is advisable to use three hinges on a door. The center hinges should be installed as close as possible to the top hinge for maximum support. Hinge capacity decreases as door height decreases.
